Translation Project Coordinator

The position of the Translation Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the completion of all language projects.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordinators independently execute patent translation & filing projects from start to finish, and serve as a single point of accountability for their quality, completion and profitability.

• Work with a variety of clients and sales teams to deliver top-quality translations for patent prosecution, in one of the fastest-growing departments in TransPerfect.

• Build and maintain working relationships with linguists and patent attorneys located around the world.

• Work with greater team to understand patent filing process, so as to advise clients and sales on best practices as a knowledgeable patent expert.

• Communicate effectively to manager and wider team any trending issues and work collaboratively to solve problems and improve internal processes and external offerings.

Required skills and experience:

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Effective time management

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task

• Working knowledge of MS Office

• Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks and work in a team environment.

• Must be willing to learn new things, be open to challenges and thrive on success

• Fluency in a foreign language and interest in IP services preferable but not required
