Semantix, a TransPerfect company, is seeking a Team Manager to lead a team of dedicated Project Managers in delivering exceptional language solutions. Based in Split, Croatia, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role within a global organization at the forefront of language technology.

Your Responsibilities

As Team Manager, you will:

• Lead and develop a team of Project Managers, creating a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented team culture.

• Drive performance by setting clear objectives and ensuring the team meets KPIs and service delivery standards.

• Optimize resources through effective planning, capacity management, and prioritization to support business demands.

• Coach and mentor your team through regular performance reviews, tailored feedback, and continuous professional development.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Technology, and Operations teams to align strategies and improve workflows.

• Identify inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives with a solution-oriented mindset.

• Support change management, guiding your team through organizational transitions and evolving client needs.

• Report regularly on team performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

• 3+ years of experience in project management or similar roles, preferably within the language or translation industry.

• Proven leadership experience - coaching, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams.

• A strategic mindset - capable of aligning daily operations with long-term business goals.

• Proficiency in project management tools and systems.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; able to prioritize and lead through ambiguity.

• Expertise in performance management - from setting expectations to addressing underperformance.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills - able to inspire teams, build relationships, and manage change with empathy and clarity.

• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
