TransPerfect Sydney is looking for an outgoing, eager individual to join the team to generate new leads and support existing accounts.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for someone who is eager to get out there and ‘network, network, network’, and passionate about nurturing client relationships!

As a Sales Coordinator (Business Development & Account Management), you will be focusing on generating new business & serving as the first level of support to existing clients/accounts. You will be a strong communicator, reliable, organised, and keen to kick-start your sales career. You will be ready to take responsibility and ownership of your clients, and have a passion for driving new business opportunities and sales.

POSITION SUMMARY/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Selling TransPerfect’s GlobalLink technology to new and existing clients – A Localisation & TMS (Translation Management System)

  • Generate new sales leads via cold calling, emailing, primary research, networking, trade shows & events.

  • Provide customer support and manage client expectations in liaison with the Production Management Team

  • Identify, qualify, develop and close sales opportunities in coordination with Sales Management

  • Promote and educate clients regarding TransPerfect’s services

  • Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company procedures

  • Take an active role in learning about each client’s industry, business needs and company culture to identify new business opportunities and provide a high level of service

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Service-focused with a desire to exceed clients’ expectations

  • Multitasking and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency

  • Commit to always treating everyone (from clients to co-workers to vendors to business partners) with the ultimate level of respect

  • Work well in a team with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients and co-workers
