Senior Product Manager

RESPOSIBILITES:

Transperfect is seeking a Senior Product Manager to manage and own the product lifecycle for integration frameworks for CMS & e-commerce systems. This position will work with internal development and QA teams and vendor partners to build integrations into GlobalLink - our flagship cloud based translation management platform

• Manage the entire product life cycle which includes:

1. Explore product functionality and recommend best strategy to integrate

2. Ability to individually carry out product deliveries from inception to product roll out

3. Ability to design/create product specifications for functional and user requirements

4. Closely monitor development and QA progress for ontime deliverables

5. Do active review of test strategy

6. Planning continuous upgrades for new features and adapt to latest market releases.

7. ollaborate with multiple teams in multiple time zones including product managers, engineers, solutions engineers, QA and customers for product strategy & roadmap.

8. Participate in UI/UX design.

9. Author & review Documentation updates

• Perform and follow agile methodologies practices

• Ability to train and mentor resources within team

• Develop marketing collateral and assist tech sales

• Engage stakeholders on necessary inputs, manage communications, expectations and dependencies with customers.

• Perform competitor analysis

• Analyze potential partner relationships with vendors.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Your experience includes:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or relevant work experience

• 8+ years of experience in a software or technology company

• 3+ years of software product management experience

• Advanced knowledge of all aspects of the software product development lifecycle

• Experience in effectively working with external and internal clients to gather and organize user requirements, user stories and use cases

• Familiar with tools like JIRA for project and requests tracking

• Must have very strong analytical skills and a strategic thinker

• Proven track record of balancing multiple projects at once and delivery of projects successfully on time

• Experienced in working on integrating products using 3rd party APIs

• Experienced with content management systems, e-commerce platforms and headless ecommerce or CMS systems.

• Technical background with experience in any of the following is preferred, but not required: Java, Microsoft.Net, PHP, REST APIs, and JSON/XML

• Exposure to leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance product management processes, workflows, and decision-making.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Big plus if you are:

• Knowledge of Unix commands, SQL and familiarity with MongoDB would be an added advantage

• Familiar with translation and localization domain and translation management systems.
