Position Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced, detail-oriented professional who excels in B2B writing and leading RFP development. The Proposals Specialist will collaborate with sales teams and senior leadership to develop well-organized, winning proposals and RFP responses. This role requires someone who is strategic, process-oriented, and systems-minded—ready to bring structure, creativity, and best practices to a traditionally siloed process.
This position plays a central role in elevating the quality and consistency of our proposals and improving win rate. Ideal candidates will possess sales instincts, the ability to shape complex information into persuasive messaging, and experience managing enterprise-level RFP responses.
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and develop strategic, client-focused RFP responses and proposals.
Take ownership of content quality by reviewing your work for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Partner with sales and internal teams to gather information, clarify goals, and shape narrative direction.
Maintain and continuously improve the library of responses to frequently asked questions.
Tidy and standardize formatting in Microsoft Word documents, ensuring visual consistency, readability, and compliance with branding guidelines.
Ensure compliance with submission procedures, archiving, and quality control.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing, journalism, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ direct experience in strategic proposal writing/editing and RFP management or a related role in sales, sales support, or any position requiring persuasive writing.
Demonstrated ability to self-review and refine work to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand and proposal objectives.
Experience working cross-functionally with leadership and sales teams.
Dynamic, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent formatting skills in Word and Excel
PowerPoint proficiency a plus.
