About Unbabel
Unbabel eliminates language barriers so that businesses can thrive across cultures and geographies. We exist to make it easier for companies to operate in multiple languages.
Our Language Operations Platform blends advanced artificial intelligence with human editors to deliver fast, efficient, high-quality translations that continuously improve over time. Unbabel integrates seamlessly into multiple channels and workflows, enabling companies to enter new markets and create smooth, multilingual experiences for their customers around the world.
As we evolve, we’re addressing complex challenges in AI-powered multilingual communication — applying large language models to enterprise localisation, maintaining consistent quality at global scale, enabling multilingual interactions across APIs and portals, and reducing cost and turnaround time in high-volume environments.
The Product Manager joining this area will be at the centre of these efforts, working on:
Embedding new AI capabilities into our Customer Portal to improve intelligence, usability, and overall experience
Scaling and simplifying our integrations suite so Unbabel connects effortlessly to diverse customer ecosystems
Advancing workflow automation, smart QA, and AI-driven localisation solutions
This role directly shapes how customers interact with our platform and how content flows through our AI pipeline — influencing critical parts of Unbabel’s future.
Our product teams are cross-functional and durable, typically including a Product Manager, Dev Lead, Engineers, and support from linguists and AI specialists. Teams are structured to deliver solutions that are valuable, viable, usable, and feasible.
Product Managers are responsible for value and viability, developing a deep understanding of users, customers, and workflows through continuous discovery and data insights. They collaborate closely with engineering, design, operations, marketing, sales, and finance to ensure the product solves real problems and supports the broader business strategy. They also stay ahead of competitive and industry movement, especially in AI and localisation.
We empower teams with autonomy and expect accountability for meaningful outcomes. We look for PMs who take ownership and influence others effectively. This is an individual contributor role with high visibility, where success depends on clear logic, structured communication, and data-driven reasoning to align teammates and stakeholders.

Define the product vision and strategy for your area, shaping how AI transforms localisation workflows.
Prioritise problems and opportunities clearly, turning ambiguity into a structured, actionable roadmap.
Work closely with engineering and design to ship high-quality solutions quickly and iteratively.
Lead discovery through customer conversations, data analysis, and rapid validation of assumptions.
Bring clarity and alignment to stakeholders across engineering, revenue, operations, and leadership.
Translate complex technical and business inputs into simple narratives and decisions.
Monitor product performance, gather insights, and continuously refine direction and execution.
Help establish effective product practices and ways of working as the team and organisation evolve.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, especially in environments with ambiguity and competing priorities.
