Job description
Position Summary:
The Media Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for controlling the quality of audio and video deliverables. The Media Quality Control Coordinator will work on the following types of projects:
· Animated videos and cartoons
· Live action video content
· IVRS (Interactive Voice Response Technology)
· E-learning and corporate training material
· Any other audio/video file types and content
Position Responsibilities:
· Non-Linguistic Quality Control of media assets according to TransPerfect’s QC procedures
· Perform all delegated QC tasks to ensure client satisfactions and best quality of production assets
· Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including, suggesting improvements to workflow and testing new solutions.
· Follow the QC procedures with support of Engineering and Technology team.
· Support the QC Team Lead in optimizing the QC processes.
· Liaise with the QC Team Leader set task priorities, identify and report any operational issues to the QC Team Leader
· Report volumes and workloads to QC Team Leader
· Report and track the progress of production and tasks status in TransPerfect’s task management systems.
· Stay current with TransPerfect’s workflows and workflow change management updates.
· Adhere to full-time schedule and occasionally work overtime when needed.
· Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Job requirements
Essential skills and experience required
· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, other languages are an asset
· Experience with Sound Forge or any other audio editing software
· Detail orientation with the ability to multitask
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
· Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
· Ability to meet deadlines
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Prior multimedia localization experience is a plus
· Independence in carrying out assigned tasks
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Highly-developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows)
