MediaNEXT is looking for a Media Project Manager to join our expanding Global team!
Project Managers execute all language/translation projects from start to finish and serve as a single point of accountability for their successful completion.
Position Summary
The Media Project Manager will manage the entire lifecycle of transcription projects involving Audio/Video Media accessibility (subtitling, voiceover, graphic replacement).
The Media Project Manager will have competency in the following types of localization projects:
IVRS (Interactive Voice Response Technology)
E-learning and corporate training material
Flash and online projects
Radio, TV and Internet Spots
Animated videos and cartoons
Video and online games
TV and Film
What You Will Be Doing
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Summary
Negotiate rates and deadlines with contract linguists in order to maximize profitability and project completion speed.
Communicate any issues/problems/delays/additional information to Account Executive on an immediate basis and work to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Investigate/resolve client complaints, problem solve and work with QA/Management to ensure that appropriate systemic changes are implemented to ensure that any problems that occurred cannot be repeated.
Who We Are Looking For
The Media Project Manager will have the ability to handle all aspects of multimedia project management with assistance and supervision from Team Lead or Department Manager as necessary. This includes, but is not limited to:
Pre-production: Pre-flight of audio and video projects. Reviewing audio and video files, selecting proper vendors, scheduling voice talent, studios, video editors and subtitling technicians or suppliers. Provide concise and effective project instructions to all necessary parties.
Production: All aspects of the recording and audio engineering processes, including set-up, file prep and conversion, Pro Tools basics, mic and level checks, pre-amp and phone patch function, slating, takes, pick-ups/re-records. Monitor recording sessions to ensure instructions are being followed and provide feedback. Communicate effectively with engineers, talents and clients during sessions.
Post-production: All stages of post-production such as video editing, graphic replacement, subtitling and DVD authoring. Basic audio editing competency and ability to convert audio files to required formats. Complete a thorough and accurate quality check to look for mistakes in audio and video files prior to delivering projects.

Ability to effectively multitask in order to simultaneously execute multiple projects.
Exceptional problem solving/critical thinking skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism, focus, and results-orientation in all situations, especially under pressure and tight deadlines.
Education and/or Experience
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
Minimum of 1 years’ experience working as a Media Project Manager, preferably working with corporate material.
