Position Summary:
We’re hiring a Sales Executive to drive new business within Life Sciences, specifically targeting clients in Pharmacovigilance (PV), Safety, and Medical Affairs. The Sales Executive will develop and grow relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech clients, selling TransPerfect’s language, content, and technology solutions for the Life Sciences sector.

Position responsibilities:
Develop an effective understanding of the capability, benefits and competitive advantages of TransPerfect’s services
Identify prospective customers and individual organizations to focus on sales activities
Develop new client relationships via cold calling, Internet, and trade shows
In coordination with Sales Management, identify, qualify, develop and close sales opportunities
Promote and educate clients regarding TransPerfect’s services
Provide customer support and manage client expectations in liaison with the Production Management Team
Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company procedures
Take an active role in learning about each client’s industry, business needs and company culture to identify new business opportunities and provide a high level of service
Perform other special projects or duties when required

Job requirements
Skills and experience required:
2–3 years’ experience in Sales, Account Management, or Client Service roles
Experience working with or selling to Life Sciences clients (particularly in Safety or Medical Affairs)
Understanding of B2B service sales cycles (not pure transactional selling)
Previous Account Management/Sales experience
Proven Strategic Business Development experience
Superior written and spoken communication skills in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
Ability to work 5 days per week from our London office
