Job description
Summary:
The Learning & Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Training team by supporting the smooth execution of learning and development initiatives. They are responsible for the organization and scheduling of training programs, workshops, and events. This role is responsible for supporting their colleagues with day-to-day tasks within the Learning & Development Department.
Position responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination of Training Programs for different business units, scheduling training calendars and meetings, and tracking/monitoring attendance and training records
Collaborate with instructors, organising learner participation and, where needed, conducting training analysis.
Support team in distributing applicable instructional materials to relevant parties
Help to guide new starters through their initial onboarding and training
Maintain regular communication with managers when new team members are confirmed to start and ensure they are provided with accurate information about their new person´s trainer, training schedule, etc.
Help to resolve technical issues relating to LMS and other internal platforms as well as respond to general Training queries from learners or instructors
Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor
Job requirements
Essential skills and experience required:
Currently enrolled or a recent graduate of an educational institution who is able to provide an internship agreement to cover you for a 6 month internship period (legal requirement in order to be eligible)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages is a valuable asset
Strong time management abilities
Proactive and positive can-do attitude
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
