L10n Engineer- IoT | Bangalore

As a Localization Engineer – IoT, you’ll support global readiness of connected devices, mobile apps, and cloud components through scalable localization workflows.  

Responsibilities 

• Prepare IoT firmware, device UI strings, and app content for localization.  

• Build and maintain automation/scripts for device and app localization workflows. 

• Work with linguists, PMs, and embedded engineers on integration.  

• Troubleshoot encoding, parsing, and platform-specific issues.  

• Validate localized firmware, device screens, and app UI.  

• Document workflows, tools, and localization standards.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.  

• 2–4+ years in localization engineering, IoT, embedded systems, or similar.  

• Strong knowledge of localization workflows and formats (JSON, XML).  

• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).  

• Experience with IoT development lifecycle and cross-functional engineering teams.  

• Familiarity with Git and CI systems.  

• Bonus: experience with embedded systems, mobile apps, or connected device ecosystems.
