Job description
As a Junior Consultant in eDiscovery, you will embark on a dynamic career in electronic document and data analysis with a focus on eDiscovery processes. This is an entry-level position requiring no previous experience, but you should possess the right skills, drive, and attitude to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand their requirements and provide timely updates on project status.
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and consultants to help develop and implement effective eDiscovery strategies.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of document review databases.
Generate reports and summaries based on data analysis and review results under the guidance of senior team members.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for eDiscovery tools and platforms.
Investigate support tickets end-to-end: reproduce bugs, document findings, and propose solutions
Support the processing, reviewing, and analyzing of electronic documents and data related to eDiscovery projects.
Utilize eDiscovery software and tools to assist in managing, transforming, and organizing data efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of all eDiscovery activities and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Ensure all data handling practices comply with legal and regulatory standards.
Continuously learn and stay updated on best practices and advancements in the eDiscovery field.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to deepen your understanding of eDiscovery processes and technologies.
Contribute to the timely and accurate completion of eDiscovery projects, ensuring they meet budget constraints and quality standards.
Job requirements
Knowledge of MS Office applications required
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent customer service skills with clear, concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
Exceptional critical-thinking skills with the capacity to prioritize and execute numerous tasks under tight deadlines.
Flexibility to accommodate non-standard work hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Required experience and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or similar experience in a related field such as Law, Computer Science, Math, IT, or a similar discipline.
Familiarity with data analysis and management concepts.
Desired skills and experience:
Knowledge of SQL, Python, C#, Visual Basic, and/or other languages.
Basic knowledge of eDiscovery processes and tools is a plus, but not required.
