Job description

Some specs:

  • Employment: Temporary contract of 8 months with potential to transition to permanent

Overview:

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for assigned locations/countries/regions, including validation of hours worked, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and statutory requirements.

  • Maintain compliance with all employment regulations related to payroll, vacation tracking, overtime pay, benefit eligibility, health & safety requirements, and other labor standards.

  • Support day-to-day HR operational activities, ensuring employees and managers receive timely and accurate guidance.

  • Assist in localizing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures to align with regional labor laws and company standards.

  • Support HR audits and labor inspections by preparing required documentation, reports, and follow-up actions.

  • Manage disciplinary actions and termination processes in accordance with company policy and local legislation.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees’ HR-related inquiries, providing clear information on policies, procedures, payroll questions, and eligibility matters.

  • Promote a consistent and positive employee experience across all assigned locations.

  • Research and recommend enhancements to HR processes, tools, workflows, and policies to improve efficiency and the overall quality of HR services.

  • Assist in coordinating and delivering training programs for employees and managers.

  • Participate in cross-functional and ad-hoc HR projects as needed, supporting broader HR initiatives.

Job requirements

Required knowledge and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations or related field

  • Previous experience as an HR Specialist/Generalist or HR Business Partner

  • Knowledge and understanding of Mexican employment law

  • Fluency in English

  • Decision making / complex problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Impeccable organization skills

  • Good knowledge of MS Office

  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations

  • Positive attitude, resiliency, and the ability to produce high quality and volume at a fast pace
