Our Strategic Account Directors are responsible for developing new business relationships within their accounts and serving as the first level of support to our clients. They are our clients’ most reliable partners and consultants who combine exceptional leadership and forward-looking abilities to develop collaborative cross-functional solutions to some of our clients’ most complex problems.

Key position responsibilities:

  • Ensure excellence in customer services and continuous growth of enterprise accounts.

  • Maintain excellent relationships with assigned clients.

  • Develop, maintain and implement an account growth plan including account mapping, stakeholder analysis, cross-selling and upselling.

  • Research prospective clients through several strategies including internet research, trade show lists, referrals, professional directories, CRMs and personal investigation.

  • Keep accurate records of prospective client data including names, titles, phone numbers, addresses and various other information.

  • Pursue relentlessly alignment with TransPerfect’s core principles.

  • Generate business opportunities through email campaigns, social media, cold-calling and all channels available to them.

  • Produce account-specific marketing strategies and content.

  • Creatively problem solve to improve current new business development strategy.

  • Organize and manage QBRs.

  • Create or maintain a continuous improvement framework and culture, including KPIs for account performance monitoring.

  • Discover and manage RfQs and RfPs.

  • Negotiate business deals, prices and deadlines with prospective and current clients.

  • Liaise with operations, technology, solutions and other internal teams to ensure that all jobs are handled appropriately and with keen attention to detail, resulting in a perfect product.

  • Consistently follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality and customer service.

  • Research and understand all industries that TransPerfect markets to including industry leaders, current events and any other pertinent data

  • Oversee account financials including revenue, profit, invoicing and collections

  • Perform other special projects or duties when required

Required Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Track record of meeting and exceeding annual sales quota.

  • Experience managing and growing multi-million enterprise accounts.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategic Account Management.

  • Experience in Project Management.

  • Excellent networking and negotiation abilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

  • Experience or studies in the AI, Natural Language Processing or related fields.
