Chinese to Thai/Malay/Indonesian Automotive Translation

[Freelance/Remote] ZH-CN → Thai / Indonesian / Malay | MTPE + Proofreading (Automotive/Technical)

Engagement: Freelance (long-term collaboration)
Location: Remote

Language pairs (apply for one or more):

• Simplified Chinese (ZH-CN) → Thai (TH)

• Simplified Chinese (ZH-CN) → Indonesian (ID)

• Simplified Chinese (ZH-CN) → Malay (MS)

What you’ll do

1. MTPE (Machine Translation Post-Editing): improve MT output to meet accuracy, fluency, consistency, and terminology/style-guide requirements.

2. Proofreading/Review (PR): perform final QA checks on language, terminology, formatting, numbers/units, and overall readiness for delivery.

3. Work in CAT tools (e.g., Trados, memoQ, Smartcat) and follow project QA workflows.

Content / Domain

Automotive + Technical materials, such as product/feature content, technical docs/manual excerpts, after-sales/service information, and training content.

Requirements

• Native-level Thai/Indonesian/Malay preferred

• Technical localization experience required; automotive localization experience is a plus

• Strong communication, reliable turnaround, and ability to support urgent requests when needed

• Linguistic test required (TR / MTPE / PR)
