Overview
TransPerfect Legal is seeking a motivated and results-driven Entry-Level Business Development Representative to support our growing sales team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals interested in legal services, eDiscovery, and legal technology.
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving new business by identifying and engaging prospective clients, including law firms and corporate legal departments. You will partner closely with senior sales leaders to generate qualified opportunities and support overall revenue growth.
What you will be doing
Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach
Research and identify potential clients within law firms, corporate legal departments, and other relevant industries
Qualify inbound and outbound leads through discovery conversations
Schedule meetings and introductory calls for senior Business Development Managers
Collaborate with internal teams (Production, Client Services, and Technology) to understand service offerings and client needs
Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and prospect interactions
Meet and exceed weekly and monthly activity and pipeline generation targets
Stay informed on legal industry trends, eDiscovery developments, and competitive landscape
Who we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Interest in legal services, eDiscovery, or technology solutions
Preferred Skills
Internship or prior experience in sales, recruiting, customer service, or legal environments
Exposure to legal, compliance, or data-related industries
