Job description

OVERVIEW

Reporting directly to the Director, Program Management, the role of Associate Program Manager will be

responsible for the operational success of TransPerfect ensuring seamless team collaboration and development,

program delivery, and quality control and evaluation.

Description

  • Own the service delivery for the client and manage risks

  • Lead specific tracks of work within larger complex projects

  • Manage project execution between geographically dispersed account, production and technology teams

across different time zones and cultures

  • Identify, track and manage KPIs and provide internal and client facing status reports

  • Assist in building overall plans/budgets and subsequent adherence

  • Forecast demand and supply

  • Manage stakeholder communication around program status and planning

  • Assist in training and adoption of technologies for internal and client teams

  • Manage existing client relationships and participate in on-boarding new relationships

  • Innovate for continuous improvement in internal and client workflows/processes

  • Complete any other tasks as assigned by a manager/supervisor

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Thorough understanding of project management; able to work effectively under pressure to meet tight

deadlines and goals

  • A consummate team player with a flexible and creative approach

  • Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool and experience working with information

technology staff to develop and implement program evaluation systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in native language as well as in English

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to learn new skills quickly

  • Exceptional problem solving/critical thinking skills

  • Ability to maintain professionalism, focus and a result-orientation attitude under pressure and tight deadlines

Job requirements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent

  • Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive peer group

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Prior translation industry experience

  • Fluency in a foreign language

  • Familiarity with MS Office and Adobe software products
