Account Manager (Fashion & Luxury) with French

Position summary:

The Account Manager serves as the main point of contact for an assigned portfolio of existing enterprise-level clients operating in the Luxury Fashion, Retail & Cosmetics vertical. Their prime focus is on expanding partnerships, introducing new AI-enabled and digital solutions, and increasing account value through consultative engagement.

The role requires a commercially-driven professional capable of engaging Digital, Marketing, eCommerce, and Operational stakeholders in conversations around global growth, workflow modernization, and scalable content and technology solutions.

Position responsibilities:

• Adopt a consultative sales approach, serving as a strategic partner for assigned clients and aligning solutions with client needs

• Monitor account performance and proactively identify and drive expansion opportunities through up-selling activities

• Generate new business relationships and execute cross-selling activities through proactive requests for referrals, industry networking, digital outreach, and participation in trade events

• Develop an understanding of client business models and identify and pitch international growth strategies, positioning TransPerfect’s AI-enabled content, technology, and global solutions within broader digital transformation and operational initiatives

• Collaborate with Production and Technology teams to support smooth implementations and contribute to client satisfaction

• With the support of Management, define pricing strategies, participate in contractual discussions, and revenue forecasting with Accounting teams

Essential skills & experience required:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent

• Native level of French

• Superior written and spoken communication skills in English

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

• Ability to build, develop, and maintain long-term professional relationships

• Results-oriented and comfortable working in target-driven environments

• Analytical skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

Desired skills & experience:

• Experience using CRM and sales intelligence platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Apollo, or similar tools)

• Knowledge of additional languages at professional working proficiency

• Experience in Sales, Business Development, or Strategic Account Management

• Exposure to the Luxury sector (Fashion, Cosmetics, etc.)

• Familiarity with digital ecosystems, CMS platforms, eCommerce environments, or AI-enabled solutions
